专利说明:

The invention relates to a device and a method for packaging at least one unit dose of medicaments in divided solid dosage form. The present invention relates to a device and a method for packaging at least one unit dose of divided solid dosage form of medicaments. in particular not entirely pulverulent, preferably non-pulverulent such as for example tablets, cachets, capsules, capsules, pills, lozenges, dragees ... to a patient. The invention also relates to a device for storing and dispensing at least one unit dose of such drugs and a method of dispensing at least one unit dose of such drugs for administration to a patient.
FR 2913 333 is known a weekly pillbox for storing and delivering solid drugs to a patient, the pillbox having 28 thermoformed drug storage cells in a PVC support, each pill cell being compartmentalized, sized to receive a hold unit of medication (s) and detachable weekly pill organizer. Each cell of the weekly pill organizer is closed by a sealing label applied and glued on the PVC support. Each sealing label is adapted to be torn and allow the taking of drugs contained in a cell. The cells of such a weekly pillbox are divided into four columns of seven cells, each column of cells corresponding to one of four daily units, each line corresponding to four units taken on the same day of the week.
Each cell of such a weekly pill has a plurality of compartments formed by the PVC support, each compartment being separated from adjacent compartments by a wall formed by the PVC support forming the pill pillar. Such a weekly pill organizer allows storage of a plurality of drugs separated from each other and makes it possible to prevent distinct drugs, comprising distinct active ingredients, from being in contact in a weekly pill cell during their storage.
Such a pill has however disadvantages. On the one hand, it allows the patient, the different drugs being separated from each other, to make a selection of different individualized drugs when the cell is open, consisting of keeping certain drugs and to reject other drugs when taking unit of medicines. Such a selection may allow the patient to escape taking a particular medication. Such a rejection is likely to lead to adverse consequences for the patient: at best, the treatment loses its therapeutic efficacy, at worst, the absence of taking this drug leads to the development of adverse side effects to the patient. On the other hand, such a weekly pillbox requires the transfer of the drugs contained in a cell in a separate container side of the pill to take the drugs. Indeed, such a pillbox does not allow to manually take drugs one by one in each compartment of the cell because of the inconvenience provided by the wall separating two adjacent compartments.
Also known from US2015 / 0014203 a drug presentation device in which a blister formed of a semi-rigid plastic film forming a plurality of cups closed by a sheet of aluminum adherent on the semi-rigid plastic film is mounted on a support having blister cup receiving lights, the entire holder and blister being placed in a drug presentation case. Each bowl contains a single drug. Such a device also has the aforementioned drawbacks. The invention therefore aims to overcome these disadvantages. Also, in the context of the treatment of certain pathologies, for example in the context of neurodegenerative pathologies, it is advantageous to be able to provide the patient with a unit dose of solid medicament in the divided state and of small granulometry mixed with a composition. flowing food - especially a compote or jam - so that the patient can ingest the mixture without difficulty.
The weekly pill dispenser of FR 2 913 333 does not make it possible to make such a mixture available to the patient without requiring a transfer of the medicaments from the unitary dose into a separate auxiliary container of the pill box to facilitate the ingestion of the unit dose of drugs.
Some aspects of the invention therefore also seek to overcome these disadvantages. The invention therefore relates to a device and a packaging method, a storage and dispensing device and a method for dispensing at least one unit dose of medicaments in divided solid dosage form - in particular not entirely pulverulent, preferably non-pulverulent - Such as for example tablets, tablets, capsules, capsules, pills, lozenges, dragees ..., to limit - especially to completely eliminate - the risk of drug selection by the patient when taking medication The invention therefore aims at such a storage and dispensing device and a method of dispensing at least one unitary dose of such drugs which are secured.
Thus, the invention is directed to a device and a packaging method, a storage and dispensing device and a method for dispensing at least one unitary dose of such drugs which at the same time make it possible to store separate drugs, some of which others, limiting the risks of interactions between different drugs during storage, but also a secure distribution of drugs, that is to say, limiting the risk of drug selection by the patient. The invention aims in particular at such a device for storing and dispensing at least one unit dose of such medicaments, the use of which by a patient is facilitated. The invention is aimed in particular at such a device for storing and dispensing at least one unit dose of such medicaments that does not require the use of an auxiliary container such as a cup separate from the pill dispenser for delivery to the patient of unitary drug intake.
Certain aspects of the invention are also aimed in combination at providing a device and a packaging method, a storage and dispensing device and a method for dispensing at least one unitary dose of such medicaments enabling the patient to be made available. a unit dosage of solid drug in the divided state for mixing with a flowing food composition - particularly a compote or a jam - so that the patient can ingest the mixture without difficulty.
To this end, the invention relates to a device for packaging at least one unit dose of medicaments in divided solid dosage form - in particular not entirely pulverulent, preferably non-pulverulent - forming at least one storage and distribution cell. such unitary uptake - that is, intended to be administered to a patient at a predetermined time, each cell comprising: - a cuvette defining a storage volume of such a unit uptake; a lid adapted to close the storage volume; a compartmentalization adapted to be able to extend into the storage volume of the bowl and to delimit therein a plurality of compartments making it possible to keep unit-taking medicaments separated from each other; characterized in that the partitioning extending into the bowl is removable relative to the bowl. The invention therefore relates to a device for packaging at least one unit dose of medicaments in divided solid dosage form, adapted to form at least one storage and dispensing cell of such a unitary dose, the packaging device comprising: - at least one bowl, each bowl defining a storage volume of such a unit intake; at least one lid, each lid being adapted to close the storage volume of a bowl; at least one partition, each partition being adapted to be able to extend into the storage volume of a bowl and to delimit therein a plurality of compartments making it possible to keep unit-taking medicaments separated from each other; characterized in that each partition is removable relative to a bowl.
Throughout the text, the term "unit dosage of drugs" usually means a set of drugs that are intended to be administered substantially in a single dose to a patient at a given time, said set of drugs being consistent with the dosage a medical prescription for the treatment of at least one pathology affecting this patient. It may be a separate set of drugs consisting of drugs of different dosage forms and / or comprising distinct active substances and / or dosages of different active substances. A unit dose of drugs may also comprise a plurality of identical drugs, that is to say comprising a plurality of drugs comprising the same active substance (s), with the same dosage of the drug. active substance (s) and under the same form (s) galenic (s).
Any solid dosage form divided little pulverulent or non-pulverulent can be stored in a device according to the invention and distributed from this device. In particular, the non-pulverulent solid dosage form may be selected from the group consisting of tablets, cachets, capsules, capsules, pills, lozenges, lozenges, etc.
The inventors have found that a device for storing and dispensing at least one unit dose of medicaments according to the invention, in which at least one partition is removable at the opening of at least one storage and dispensing cell. such drugs in fact allows secure storage of at least one unit dose of drugs before opening at least one cell containing this unit dose of drugs, the different drugs of the unitary take of drugs being separated when the cell of storage and distribution is closed. It therefore allows a storage of the different drugs a unit dose of drugs in the state separated from each other avoiding contact between the different drugs and avoiding any interference between these drugs during storage. It also allows for easy grouping and dispensing of unit dose medications of mixed drugs into the cuvette when the storage cell is open and the removable partition is removed from the cuvette. They also found that a device and a packaging method according to the invention make it possible to form a device for storing and dispensing at least one unit dose of medicaments.
According to a first variant of the invention, the packaging device is free of drugs and comprises at least one bowl, at least one lid and at least one removable partition in the dissociated state (in the form of a "kit"), the (the) bowl (s), the (s) lid (s) and the (s) partition (s) removable (s) being separated from each other and adapted to be able -after assembly with the unit dose of drugs- at least one cell for storing and dispensing at least one unit dose of drugs, at least one such cell containing a unit dose of drugs.
According to a second variant of the invention, the packaging device is in the partially assembled state, that is to say in a state in which the removable partition (s) is (are) disposed in the storage volume (s) by forming with the cup (s) storage compartments, the (s) lid (s) not closing the opening of the (s) ) bowl (s).
A packaging device according to the second variant of the invention is used during a process for preparing a device for storing and dispensing at least one unit dose of medicaments. It is used during a distribution step of at least one unit dose of drugs in compartments of a packaging device according to the invention prior to the introduction of the lid. In this configuration of a packaging device in the partially assembled state, the cup (s) and the removable partition (s) are arranged to receive drugs before the introduction of the (of) lid (s), the closure of the bowl (s) and the formation of the cell (s).
Advantageously and according to one or other of the first and second variants of the invention, the bowl has a peripheral shoulder defining an opening of the bowl, the lid being formed of a sealing film adapted to adhere to the peripheral shoulder of the bowl.
Advantageously, at least one bowl -in particular each bowl- has a peripheral shoulder delimiting an opening of the bowl -particularly of each bowl-, at least one lid -particularly each lid-being formed of a sealing film adapted to be able to adhere on the peripheral shoulder of the bowl -in particular of each bowl-. The peripheral shoulder of each cuvette forms a surface -particularly a substantially planar surface- for receiving and adhering the sealing film to the cuvette, the cuvette containing a removable partitioning and a unitary plug of medicaments, the adhesion of the film shutter on the peripheral shoulder of the bowl for closing the cuvette and forming a storage cell and dispensing at least one unit dose of drugs.
Advantageously and according to some embodiments of the invention, the sealing film has a main face, called the adhesive face, having at least one adhesive zone arranged to be able to adhere to the peripheral shoulder of the bowl. Advantageously and according to some embodiments of the invention, said adhesive face of the sealing film is coated with an adhesive material. Advantageously and according to the invention, the sealing film is formed of an adhesive material. Advantageously, the sealing film is formed of an adhesive cellulosic material, especially adhesive paper. Advantageously, the sealing film comprises a removable protective film of the adhesive material, the removable protective film being removable on at least a portion of the surface of the sealing film. Any type of adhesive material may be used as long as the removable film is compatible with drug contact. Advantageously, the sealing film has a precut of subsequent opening of the cell by tearing the sealing film. Such pre-cut allows on the one hand the subsequent opening of the cell containing the unit dose of drugs and on the other hand the extraction of removable partitioning.
Advantageously, according to some embodiments of the invention, the sealing film is formed of an essentially cellulosic material - especially paper - of which said adhesive face is self-adhesive and coated with a removable protective film.
Advantageously, according to certain embodiments of the invention, said adhesive face has an adhesive peripheral zone covered with a removable protective silicone film and is adapted to be bonded to the peripheral shoulder of the bowl when the silicone film is removed. , and a central area, preferably non-adhesive intended to extend opposite the storage space / volume, the storage space / volume containing the removable partitioning and the unit dose of drugs.
However, there is nothing to prevent said adhesive face from having a second adhesive zone, extending towards the inside of the peripheral zone, also covered with a portion of removable film and adapted to be bonded at least on a peripheral rim of the removable partitioning when said removable film portion is removed. In this configuration, the tearing of the sealing film concomitantly allows the opening of the cell and the extraction of the removable partitioning.
Advantageously and according to the invention, the closure film has a second main face, called the printed face, opposite to said adhesive face and having at least one inscription.
Advantageously, said printed face has at least one inscription intended to identify the patient, to identify the drug (s), to identify the date of taking medication (s) and / or to identify the time of taking of medication (s). The registration can take any form identifiable by the patient, by the prescriber, by a caregiver or by means of an identifier reader. It can be for example writing characters, a color code, a bar code or a QR code. It may be, for visually impaired patients, inscriptions in Braille. Said printed face has inscriptions relating to the patient and / or the medical prescription.
Advantageously, according to some embodiments of the invention, the bowl is elongated in a main direction of elongation and has: - a larger dimension parallel to the main direction of elongation of the bowl -particularly of value between 60 mm and 150 mm, and; a width in a direction perpendicular to the main direction of value elongation of between 20 mm and 50 mm.
Advantageously, according to this embodiment of the invention, each bowl is elongated in a main direction of elongation and has: - a larger dimension parallel to the main direction of elongation of the bowl -particularly of value between 60 mm and 150 mm, and; a width in a direction perpendicular to the main direction of value elongation of between 20 mm and 50 mm.
Advantageously and according to the invention, the bowl has a depth extending perpendicular to the main direction of elongation, perpendicular to the width and less than the width, in particular between 10 mm and 20 mm.
Advantageously and according to some embodiments of the invention, each cuvette has a depth extending perpendicularly to the main direction of elongation, perpendicular to the width and of less than the width-in particular between 10 mm and 20 mm- . Nothing prevents, however, that, according to some other embodiments of the invention, the depth is of greater value than the width.
The dimensions of each bowl of the packaging device may be identical. Nothing prevents however to provide that at least two bowls of the packaging device have different dimensions and to adapt the dimensions of each sealing film and the dimensions of each removable partition to the dimensions of each bowl.
Advantageously and according to the invention, each cuvette is formed of a material chosen from the group consisting of thermoplastic materials and thermosetting materials. The thermoplastic material may be selected from the group consisting of polystyrene (PS), polyethylene (PE), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), low density polyethylene (LDPE), polypropylene (PP), polycarbonate (PC), acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), high impact polystyrene (SB) and mixtures thereof. Advantageously, each bowl is formed of a transparent material.
Advantageously, each removable partition is formed of a material selected from the group consisting of thermoplastic materials and thermosetting materials. The constituent material of the bowl may be identical to or different from the material constituting the partitioning.
Advantageously, according to some embodiments of the invention, the packaging device is adapted to be able to receive drugs and to form a plurality of storage and dispensing cells of a plurality of unitary taps of such drugs, the the plurality of storage and dispensing cells being bonded together in the form of a tray of storage and dispensing cells. In particular, each cell of the plurality of drug storage and delivery cells is bound to adjacent cells by breakable bonds having facilitated partitioning precuts of each cell and adjacent cells. Each cell of the drug storage and dispensing device formed from the packaging device is therefore detachable from the drug storage and dispensing device and adjacent cells.
In particular, according to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the packaging device is adapted to form a weekly pill pillar, the number of cells forming the storage tray being chosen to allow one, two, three or four sets ( s) unit (s) of drugs per day for seven days of weekly treatment. Such a packaging device according to the invention advantageously comprises 28 cells for storing and dispensing 28 unit doses of medicaments.
Advantageously, according to this preferred embodiment of the invention, the packaging device is a device for packaging a plurality of unitary taps of such medicaments, comprising: a plurality of cups connected to each other in the form of a drug reception tray; - A closure sheet of the plurality of cuvettes formed of a plurality of sealing films, each sealing film being adapted to be able to seal a bowl, and; a plurality of removable partitions, particularly connected to each other in the form of a plate of removable partitions, each partition of the plurality of removable partitions being adapted to: be able to extend into the storage volume of a bowl delimiting a plurality of compartments therein; To be able to form, after receiving a unit dose of such medicaments and a lid, a cell for storing and dispensing a unit dose of medicaments in which at least two drugs of the unit dose of drugs are separated; one of the other, and; • be able to be extracted from the bowl, so that the drugs are not separated from each other in the bowl after extraction of the partitioning.
Advantageously and according to the invention, the packaging device is free of drugs. The packaging device is in the at least partially dissociated state (in the form of a "kit"), the plurality of cuvettes, the plurality of covers and the plurality of removable partitions not forming a plurality of storage cells of a plurality of unit doses of drugs.
Advantageously and according to the invention, the closure sheet comprises a plurality of sealing films, the closure sheet and the sealing films being dimensioned so that each film of the plurality of films forming the sheet can seal the film. opening a cuvette of the packaging device. The sealing sheet has pre-cuts arranged to allow the separation of a sealing film. The blanks of the blanking sheet extend in accordance with pre-cuts of the plurality of storage wells of the receiving tray and allow the separation of a cell from the plurality of cells for dispensing a unitary grip of medication to a patient.
Advantageously, according to some embodiments of the invention, the packaging device comprises a plurality of removable partitions connected to each other in the form of a partition plate and so that each partition of the plurality of removable partitions can cooperate. with a bowl of the plurality of cuvettes of the drug receiving and storage tray and forming in each cuvette a plurality of compartments. Preferably, each partition of the plurality of removable partitions is related to the adjacent removable partitions by means of a link having a precut. However, nothing prevents that at least one partitioning - particularly each partitioning - can be in the form of a removable partition separate from the other partitions of the packaging device according to the invention.
Advantageously and according to the invention, each cuvette of the plurality of cuvettes of the drug receiving tray has a peripheral shoulder for bonding a sealing film bordering the opening of the cuvette. Advantageously and according to the invention, each cuvette having a peripheral shoulder for bonding a sealing film bordering the opening of the cuvette, the peripheral adhesive shoulders of the plurality of cuvettes are substantially coplanar. The plurality of coplanar peripheral shoulders allows application of the closure sheet of the plurality of cuvettes to close the storage space / volume of each cuvette of the plurality of cuvettes and to form a storage and dispensing device. distribution of at least one unit dose of such drugs.
Advantageously, the plurality of cuvettes of the storage tray of the unitary grip of such drugs is a drug receptacle in which each cuvette of the receptacle is bonded to the adjacent cuvettes by means of bonds having easy separation precuts of the cell and adjacent cells. . Advantageously, the closure sheet of the plurality of cuvettes also has separation pre-cuts of each closure film and of each cell of the drug receiving tray, the pre-cuts of the sealing sheet being complementary to the pre-cuts of the tray. reception. Advantageously, each sealing film of the sealing sheet also has opening pre-cuts of each corresponding cell by tearing the sealing film.
Advantageously, the drug receiving tray is formed of a material selected from the group consisting of thermoplastic materials and thermosetting materials. It is possible to obtain the drug storage tray by thermoforming a thermoplastic material, forming in a single step the plurality of cuvettes and precuts.
Advantageously and according to the invention, the packaging device comprises: - a pre-cut drug receiving tray forming a plurality of juxtaposed cuvettes; a pre-cut sheet of shutter films, and - a pre-cut set of removable partitions.
The tray is pre-cut so as to allow the separation of the cups from each other manually (by tearing pre-cuts). The sheet is precut so as to allow the separation of the shutter films from each other manually (by tearing pre-cuts). The set of removable partitions is pre-cut so as to allow the separation of removable partitions from each other manually (by tearing pre-cuts). In addition, preferably, the different precuts are adapted to allow the separation of the bowl, the sealing film and removable partitioning of the same cell manually simultaneously (by simultaneous tearing of the different precuts) in a single gesture. It is thus possible to separate a cell from a storage and dispensing device according to the invention obtained with such a packaging device, this cell containing a unitary grip of such drugs, for distribution to the patient.
Advantageously and according to the invention, each removable partition has a plurality of drug separation walls and forms, in cooperation with the bottom of the cuvette, a plurality of drug storage compartments in the cuvette in which it is positioned.
Advantageously and according to the invention, at least one -notamment each- removable partitioning is a bottomless partitioning. Such removable partitioning is configured to allow a lateral separation of drugs from a unit dose of drugs in the bowl when the removable partitioning extends into the storage volume of the bowl and delimits in cooperation with the bowl a plurality of compartments to keep unit-dose drugs separate from each other. Such removable partition is also configured to allow a release of drugs in a form not separated from each other in the bowl by simply extracting the removable partition from the bowl.
Such removable partitioning has between two adjacent walls a drug holding lumen of the unit dose of drugs in contact with the bottom of the bowl. Such removable partitioning is adapted so that the drugs of the unit dose of drugs remain in a form not separated from each other in the bowl after removal of removable partitioning.
Advantageously, the removable partitioning has between 2 and 10 partitions and forms in the bowl between 3 and 11 compartments.
Advantageously, the removable partition has 6 partitions and forms in the bowl 7 drug storage compartments. Of course, without departing from the scope of protection of the invention, the removable partitioning can form in the bowl more than 7 drug storage compartments. The partitions of the removable partition may be of any form adapted to allow the storage of a plurality of drugs in the separated state. The partitions of the removable partition are dimensioned to form in cooperation with the bottom of the cuvette, a plurality of drug storage compartments in a form separated from each other when the removable partition is positioned in the cuvette. The bulkheads of the removable partition are dimensioned to be able to extend substantially in contact with the bottom of the bowl, but not secured to the bottom of the bowl and so as to provide the light for keeping the medicaments in contact with the bottom of the bowl, especially when storing the drugs separated from each other and during the extraction of removable partitioning.
Removable partitioning does not in itself constitute a drug storage compartment or a drug storage basin. In particular, the removable partitioning is a bottomless partition comprising transverse partitions (that is to say adapted to extend transversely in the bowl) providing a light between two adjacent partitions and allowing the passage of drugs. Thus, the extraction of the removable partitioning of the bowl containing the drugs separated from each other does not result in the extraction of the drugs from the cuvette.
Advantageously and according to the invention, the partitions of the removable partitioning can be equidistant and form compartments of the same size in the bowl. However, it is also possible that the partitions of the removable partitioning form in the bowl compartments of different sizes. Such a device makes it possible to store and dispense at least one unit dose of drugs having different size medications. Advantageously, at least two compartments have different sizes.
Nothing also prevents the number of partitions differs from one removable partition to another. The partitions can have any shape since they allow the formation of compartments in the bowl, the bottom of each compartment being formed by the bottom of the bowl. The partitions may have two opposite main faces substantially parallel. They may also have two opposite non-parallel main faces so that the compartments formed in the bowl are flared upwards, that is to say toward the face of the partition intended to receive the lid. Such upwardly flared compartments allow easy filling of the bowl. Nothing prevents however that the compartments formed in the bowl are flared downwards, that is to say towards the bottom of the bowl. Such compartments flared down to facilitate the spread of drugs at the bottom of the bowl.
Advantageously and according to the invention, the bowl has a bottom, said storage floor, and a side wall, said storage floor and the side wall defining the storage volume of the unit dose of medication. Advantageously, according to some embodiments of the invention, said storage floor is substantially plane.
Advantageously, in combination and according to another aspect of the invention, a bottom portion of the bowl forms a recess for collecting medicaments of the unit dose of medication adapted to be able to receive the medicaments and to contain them, and to allow their crushing - especially their grinding- in the recess. The bottom of the cuvette is formed from said storage floor and the recess and extends continuously between said storage floor and the recess.
Advantageously and according to this other aspect of the invention, the recess allows a grouping of medicaments of the unit dose of drugs in the recess after extraction of the removable partitioning, crushing - especially grinding - of the drugs and the formation of a unitary grip of powdered drug maintained in the recess.
The recess is dimensioned to be able to contain the drugs of the unit dose of drugs. It is also dimensioned to be able to receive a device for crushing drugs in the recess and allow the crushing - especially grinding - of drugs in the recess. Thus, advantageously and according to this other aspect of the invention, the recess has a wall, said wall of the recess, of substantially symmetrical shape of revolution-in particular cylindrical of revolution-. Advantageously, said wall of the recess can be of frustoconical shape. Advantageously and according to this other aspect of the invention, the recess has a bottom of the recess. The bottom of the recess can be plane. It may also be of substantially rounded shape and adapted to allow crushing of the drugs, in particular by means of a crushing and / or grinding member such as a pestle. The bottom of the recess can be smooth. It may also have asperities dimensioned to be able to cooperate with a crushing member - especially a pestle - and allow crushing - especially grinding - drugs.
The material forming the recess, its shape, the thickness of the bottom of the recess and said wall of the recess, the asperities forming the bottom of the recess are chosen to allow crushing - in particular an effective grinding of the drugs and to receive a food flowing and its mixture with the crushed drugs. The crushed medicaments are in the form of a solid in the divided state of small particle size, especially in the form of a powder.
Advantageously, according to some embodiments of the invention the recess is a deformable recess between a retracted form in which the recess does not allow the crushing of drugs and an expanded form in which the recess has a depth adapted to receive the drugs and allow their crushing. Such a deformable recess may be a retractable recess / deployable along an axis perpendicular to said storage fund of the cuvette. Such a deformable recess limits the size of the packaging device when the deformable recess is in the retracted position. It also allows the collection of drugs from the unitary taking of drugs and crushing - especially grinding - drugs when the deformable recess is in the deployed position and the dispensing device is in the crushing position. Such a deformable recess may have a lateral wall forming successive transverse folds arranged to allow deformation said accordion deformation.
Said storage base and the recess allow, after opening the cell and extracting the removable partition of the storage bowl, a collection of drugs from a unit dose of drugs in the recess by simply sliding the drugs between said storage bottom and the recess in which the drugs are held for crushing or grinding, mixing them in the recess with a flowing food, and making them easier for the patient.
According to this aspect of the invention, the recess and said storage bottom together form the bottom of the bowl so that the medicaments of the unit dose of drugs can be driven, after removal of the removable partition, from said storage bottom to the recess by sliding on the storage floor by a simple inclination of the bowl allowing a sliding of the drugs between said storage floor and the reinforcement.
Advantageously and according to this aspect of the invention, the recess forms a crushing mortar-in particular grinding-drugs of the unit dose of drugs.
Advantageously and according to certain aspects of the invention, the recess and said storage bottom being formed of the same material, the recess and said storage bottom having different thicknesses, the thickness of the material forming the recess being greater than thickness of the material forming said storage floor. However, there is nothing to prevent the material forming said bottom of storage of the bowl and the material forming the recess from having the same thickness.
Advantageously and according to certain aspects of the invention, the recess has a bending rigidity greater than the bending rigidity of said storage floor. However, according to certain other aspects of the invention, the recess has a bending stiffness substantially equal to the bending rigidity of said storage bottom.
Advantageously and according to this aspect of the invention, the bowl is formed by thermoforming a thermoplastic material or a thermosetting material.
According to certain aspects of the invention, there is nothing to prevent certain bowls of the plurality of bowls having such a recess and that other bowls of the plurality of bowls do not have such a recess. The invention also extends to a method for packaging at least one unit dose of medicaments in divided solid dosage form, in which a packaging device according to the invention is used to obtain a storage and dispensing device. at least one unit dose of drugs according to the invention, ready for use. The invention therefore extends to such a method of manufacturing a device for storing and dispensing at least one unit dose of such medicaments in which a packaging device according to the invention is used.
In particular, the invention extends to a method for packaging at least one unit dose of medicaments in divided solid form -particularly not completely pulverulent, preferably non-pulverulent-, in which: - a device of packaging according to the invention; a removable partition is placed in one compartment in each bowl of the packaging device; - Dispensing drugs in divided solid dosage form - in particular not completely pulverulent, preferably non-pulverulent - in at least two storage compartments formed by removable partitioning placed in the bowl -particularly in each bowl- (in accordance with a medical prescription intended for a patient) and; - Closing the bowl -notamment each bowl- of the device comprising the drugs by applying the lid. Thus, a device for storing and dispensing at least one unit dose of medicaments in divided solid dosage form - in particular not completely pulverulent, preferably non-pulverulent - is ready to be dispensed or made available to a patient.
Such a distribution of drugs is made by any appropriate means. It can be a manual distribution performed by an operator. It can also be an automated distribution performed by an automaton according to the medical prescription. It can also be a semi-automated distribution in which an operator is assisted by an automaton for detecting and validating the distribution of drugs.
Advantageously and according to the invention, variable inscriptions are printed on the lid-in particular at least one personal data relating to the patient to be treated and / or at least one data relating to a medical prescription. It is possible, the cover being a sealing film, to print at least one personal data relating to the patient to be treated and / or at least one data relating to the medical prescription before the application of the closure film to the bowl . For example, such an impression is made by means of a printer. However, nothing prevents the printing of at least one personal data relating to the patient to be treated and / or at least one piece of data relating to the medical prescription on the drug storage tray after the application of the film. shutter on the bowl.
Advantageously and according to the invention, the lid being a sealing film having a main face, said adhesive face, having at least one adhesive zone arranged to be able to adhere to the peripheral shoulder of a bowl, said adhesive face being protected by a removable protective film, the removable protective film is removed and the sealing film is applied to the bowl (s) comprising the removable partition (es) and at least one unit dose of medicaments. The invention also extends to a device for storing and dispensing at least one unit dose of medicaments in divided solid dosage form - in particular not entirely pulverulent, preferably non-pulverulent - obtained by a packaging method according to the invention. invention. The invention also extends to a device for storing and dispensing at least one unit dose of medication obtained from a packaging device according to the invention. The invention therefore extends to a device for storing and dispensing at least one unit dose of medicaments in divided solid dosage form - in particular not entirely pulverulent, preferably non-pulverulent -, each unit dose being intended to be administered to a patient at a predetermined time and distributed in a cell for storing and distributing such a unitary catch, each cell comprising: a bowl delimiting a storage volume of such a unitary catch and containing such a unitary catch; a lid adapted to close the storage volume; a partitioning extending in the storage volume and delimiting therein a plurality of storage compartments holding drugs of the unitary plug separated from each other, the partitioning extending into the cuvette; characterized in that the partitioning extending into the bowl is removable relative to the bowl. The invention thus relates to such a device for storing and dispensing at least one unit dose of such drugs in which at least one storage cell is closed and contains a unit dose of drugs. The invention thus relates to such a storage and dispensing device which is furnished with at least one unitary grip of such drugs and ready for use by a patient or in use by a patient.
Advantageously and according to the invention, the removable partitioning is adapted to be extracted from the bowl, the drugs are then no longer separated from each other in the bowl after removal of removable partitioning.
Advantageously and according to certain particular embodiments of the invention, the removable partitioning is secured to the cover so as to allow, during the opening of the storage cell, a simultaneous extraction of the removable partition from the bowl and a random distribution medicines in the bowl. In this embodiment of a device according to the invention, the dispensing operation of a unit dose of medicaments is simplified and makes it possible to form in the cuvette, in a single step, a unit dose of medicaments, the removal of which by the patient is easy and without having to use an auxiliary container.
Nothing prevents however that, in other embodiments, the removable partition extends into the bowl without connection to the lid so that the opening of the bowl allows extraction of the removable partition from the bowl after the opening of the bowl and a subsequent mixing of the drugs in the bowl.
Advantageously and according to other particular embodiments of the invention, the removable partition is separated from the cover so that the opening of the storage cell requires a delayed extraction (that is to say after removal of the cover) removable partitioning out of the bowl to form a random distribution of drugs in the bowl.
In these other embodiments, the removable partition advantageously has gripping means adapted to facilitate the extraction of the removable partitioning later to the opening of the cell. For example, the removable partition has a tab for gripping and extracting removable partitioning.
Advantageously, in combination and according to another aspect of a device for storing and dispensing a unit dose of medicaments according to the invention, a portion of the bottom of the bowl forms a recess for collecting the medicaments of the unit dose of medicaments. adapted to be able to receive the drugs and contain them, and to allow their crushing - especially grinding - in the recess.
According to this other aspect of the invention, the medicaments of the unit dose of medicaments contained in the cell are distributed in the storage compartments formed by the partitioning in the storage volume. In particular, the bottom of the cuvette being formed of the reinforcement and a bottom portion, said storage floor, substantially plane, the medicaments of the unit dose of drugs contained in the cell are distributed in the storage compartments formed by the partitioning, by the storage floor and by the cover. However, there is nothing to prevent one of the medicines from taking a unit of medication from being stored in the recess. One of the storage compartments is then formed by the recess, the partition and the cover.
Advantageously and according to a preferred variant of the invention, the storage and distribution device comprises a plurality of storage cells linked to each other in the form of a storage and dispensing tray of drugs (or pillbox). At least one-in particular each storage cell of the storage tray is formed of a removable partition, a cuvette and a lid forming a storage volume containing a unit dose of drugs separated from each other. In this variant, the cover is a shutter sheet of the plurality of cells, the shutter film being formed of a plurality of shutter films, the sheet and the shutter films being dimensioned so that each film of shutter the plurality of sealing films seals the opening of a bowl of the plurality of cuvettes.
Advantageously, according to this particular aspect of a device for storing and dispensing a unit dose of medicaments according to the invention, at least one-particularly each bowl having a bottom, a part of the bottom of at least one-particularly Each bowl forms a recess sized to be able to contain the drugs and to allow their crushing - especially grinding - in the recess.
Advantageously and according to the invention, each storage cell of the device for storing and dispensing such medicaments contains a unit dose of such medicaments corresponding to a medical prescription.
Advantageously and according to the invention, the storage cells are linked to each other by pre-cuts adapted to allow the separation of each cell from adjacent cells by manual tearing of these pre-cuts.
The sealing sheet has pre-cuts arranged to allow separation of films from the sealing sheet. The blanks of the blanking sheet extend in concordance with pre-cuts of the plurality of storage bowls and with pre-cuts of the plurality of removable partitions, so as to allow the separation of a single cell from the plurality of cells. for dispensing a single unit dose of medication to a patient. Preferably, the precuts are adapted to allow the separation of a cell by simultaneous tearing of the different precuts in a single gesture, manually.
Advantageously, the storage and distribution device according to the invention in the form of a plate has a plurality of eyelets for hooking and storage of the plate in a vertical position. The invention also extends to a method of providing a unit dose of drugs in divided solid dosage form, in which a device according to the invention is used. The invention therefore also extends to a method of providing a unit dose of drugs in divided solid dosage form, wherein a device according to the invention is used. The invention extends in particular to a method for dispensing at least one unit dose of medicaments in divided solid form - in particular not entirely pulverulent, preferably non-pulverulent - to a patient, in which: - a device (said storage device and dispensing device corresponding to a medical prescription) for storing and dispensing at least one unit dose of medicaments in divided solid dosage form - in particular not entirely pulverulent, preferably non-pulverulent - according to the invention is chosen; the lid of a cell of the storage and dispensing device corresponding to the unit dose of medicaments is removed, and the removable partitioning is extracted from the cell so that the drugs are no longer separated from each other in the bowl, and; - the unit dose of medication is distributed to the patient.
Advantageously and according to the invention: a device for storing and dispensing at least one unit dose of medicaments in divided solid dosage form - in particular not entirely pulverulent, preferably non-pulverulent - according to the invention is chosen, then; a cell for storing and distributing such a unitary tap is separated from the storage device, and then; the lid of this cell of the storage and dispensing device corresponding to the unit dose of drugs is removed, and the removable partitioning is extracted from this cell so that the drugs are no longer separated from each other in the bowl, and; - the unit dose of medication is distributed to the patient.
Advantageously and according to the invention, the cover is removed and the removable partition is extracted simultaneously, the removable partition being secured to the cover.
Advantageously, in combination and according to another aspect of a method of dispensing a unit dose of medicaments according to the invention, a bottom portion of the bowl forming a recess for collecting and crushing - particularly grinding - medicaments of the unit dose of drugs sized to be able to receive the drugs and to contain them, the drugs are moved into the recess after removal of the removable partitioning and a crushing - in particular a grinding - drugs of the unit dose of drugs is carried out in the recess.
The crushing is carried out, in particular grinding, by any appropriate means. Advantageously, the crushing and / or grinding is carried out for example by means of a pestle, the recess serving as a crushing mortar. Such crushing is carried out by rotating the pestle along an axis substantially orthogonal to the plane of opening of the bowl, the pest exerting a compression of the drugs in the recess and their crushing. Preferably, the recess has a substantially symmetrical shape of revolution - in particular cylindrical revolution - and adapted to allow a pool of drugs in the recess and cooperate with such a pestle and allow crushing of drugs.
There is nothing to prevent crushing - particularly grinding - by any other physical means of disintegrating the drugs. Such a physical means of disintegrating drugs is chosen which does not modify the chemical composition - in particular of the chemical composition of the active ingredients - of the unit dose of medicaments.
Advantageously, the dish is placed in a concave support formed of a solid material and having a hollow shape complementary to the convex outer face of the bowl. Such a concave support makes it possible on the one hand to maintain the shape of the recess and to block rotation of the bowl during the crushing of the medicaments.
According to this other aspect of a dispensing method according to the invention, a flowing food is added to the unit dosage of crushed medicaments and the mixture of the flowing food and the unit dosage of drugs is dispensed to the patient. The invention also relates to a device for packaging at least one unit dose of medicaments, a method for packaging at least one unit dose of medicinal products in which a packaging device according to the invention is chosen, a device storing and dispensing at least one unit dose of drugs and a method of dispensing at least one unit dose of medication to a patient, characterized in combination by all or some of the characteristics mentioned above or hereinafter. The packaging devices and the devices for storing and dispensing at least one unit dose of drugs according to the invention shown in FIGS. 1 to 8 are given solely by way of nonlimiting examples. In these figures, the scales and the relative dimensions are not necessarily respected.
A packaging device 1 according to the invention shown in Figure 1 comprises a bowl 11 for storing a unit dose of drugs. The bowl 11 shown in Figure 1 is free of drugs. The bowl 11 is formed of a compatible material to be brought into contact with the drugs of the unitary catch. The bowl 11 is preferably formed of a single piece of a thermoplastic material, for example polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or a thermosetting material. The bowl 11 may for example be obtained by thermoforming the thermoplastic material. The thermoplastic material is preferably transparent and allows visualization of the unit dose of medication packaged in the device 1 in the assembled state, filled with drugs and ready for use by a patient.
The bowl 11 has a storage volume 15 of a unit dose of drugs limited by substantially flat side walls 14 and a bottom 16 also substantially planar. The side walls 14 and the bottom 16 provide an opening opening of the bowl 11 and the storage volume 15. The bowl 11 shown in FIG. 1 being of substantially rectangular parallelepipedal shape, the opening of the bowl 11 is of rectangular shape and has an internal receiving flange 17 for receiving and centering the removable partitioning 13 and a peripheral sealing shoulder 18 for the cover 12. on the substantially flat upper face of the peripheral shoulder 18. The inner rim 17 has a substantially flat upper face and adapted to cooperate with a lower face complementary to a peripheral rim 19 of the removable partition 13. The peripheral shoulder 18 may have a discontinuity 3 adapted and dimensioned to be able to receive a tongue 2 for gripping the partition 13 removable. The peripheral shoulder 18 of the opening of the bowl 11 being of rectangular shape, the discontinuity 3 preferably extends to one of the longitudinal ends of the bowl 11. It is possible that the peripheral shoulder 18 has at least another lateral discontinuity 4 extending in the length of the bowl and adapted to receive a breakable link tab 5 extending between two adjacent removable partitions 13.
The device represented in FIG. 1 has a removable partition 13 adapted and dimensioned to be positioned in the storage volume 15 of the bowl 11. The removable partitioning 13 has a plurality of transverse partitions 6 adapted to accommodate, with the bowl 11 and the cover 12, a plurality of drug storage compartments of a unit dose of drugs. Medicines of the unit dose of drugs are then separated from each other by the transverse partitions 6 during storage. Each transverse septum shown in FIG. 1 has two nonparallel main faces and form in the bowl 11 flared compartments 20 towards the bottom 16 of the bowl by increasing the bottom surface of the drug-accessible bowl of the unitary catch and improving the distribution of these drugs at the bottom of the bowl. However, it is possible that each transverse wall having two non-parallel main faces, they form in the bowl upwardly flared compartments, that is to say compartments in which the opening has a surface greater than the surface of the background. Such upwardly flared compartments allow easier access to the compartments as they are filled. Combining these two advantages, nothing prevents that each transverse partition has two parallel main faces.
The removable partition 13 has a peripheral rim 19 of the removable partition adapted to cooperate with the internal rim 17 of the bowl 11 and so that the substantially flat upper face of the peripheral shoulder 18 and the upper face of the peripheral rim 19 of the removable partition. are coplanar and may, where appropriate, form with one another the bonding surface of the cover 12.
The device shown in FIG. 1 has a cover 12 sized to close the storage volume. This cover 12 may be formed of an adhesive material on one of its main faces, called the adhesive face. It may be an adhesive cellulosic material, in particular adhesive paper. One of the main faces of the cover 12 is adapted to be placed facing the storage volume and provided with a layer of an adhesive material protected by a protective film on the entire surface of the cover 12, when the device 1 according to the invention is in the dissociated state (in the form of a "kit"), the bowl 11, the lid 12 and the removable partition 13 being adapted to form a closed cell for storing a unit dose of medicaments, containing the unit dosage of drugs, or when the device 1 according to the invention is in the partially assembled state, that is to say in which the partitioning 13 removable is disposed in the storage volume 15 forming, in cooperation with the 11, drug storage compartments 20, the lid 12 not closing the opening of the bowl 11.
A peripheral portion of the protective film of the cover 12 can be removed so that the peripheral portion of the corresponding lid 12 can be glued to the peripheral shoulder 18 of the opening of the bowl 11, the unit dose of drugs being distributed in drug storage compartments. After gluing the lid 12 on the bowl 11 enclose the removable partitioning 13 and the unit dose of drugs, the device 1 is a device for storing a unit dose of drugs, filled with drugs and ready for use by a patient.
A peripheral portion of the protective film of the cover 12 can be removed so that the peripheral portion of the corresponding cover 12 can be glued to the peripheral shoulder 18 of the opening of the bowl 11, the unit dose of drugs being distributed in drug storage compartments.
The lid also has a main face opposite to the adhesive face having inscriptions 9 that can be read by the patient, by the medical staff or by a barcode or QR code reader. The inscriptions 9 may relate to the identity of the patient and / or the date and time of the unit dose of medication and / or the medical prescription, including the nature, dose and posology of the patient. (medication).
The lid 12 has a pre-cut 8 adapted to allow the opening of the storage cell 10 of the unit dose of drugs. The lid 12 also has a tongue 7 for opening the cell 10 adapted to allow the patient to grasp the end of the lid 12, tear the lid 12 according to the precut 8, remove the removable partition 13 out of the bowl 11, and forming the unitary dosage of drugs.
In a first particular embodiment of the invention, the cover 12 is glued only on the peripheral shoulder 18 of the bowl 11 and, where appropriate on the end of the tongue 2 of the removable partition 13 securing. In this embodiment, the opening of the cell 10 by tearing the lid 12 according to the precut 8 is not accompanied by the simultaneous extraction of the partition 13 removable. In this embodiment, a subsequent step of extraction of the removable partitioning 13 is necessary to form the unit dose of drugs in the bowl 11. Of course, the precut 8 is chosen and dimensioned to allow the subsequent step of extraction of the partitioning 13 removable without requiring additional tearing of the cover 12.
In a second particular embodiment of the invention, the cover 12 is bonded to the peripheral shoulder 18 of the bowl 11 and the peripheral rim 19 of the partition 13 removable. In this second embodiment, the tearing of the cover 12 according to the precut 8 positioned between the bonding zone of the peripheral shoulder 18 of the bowl 11 and the bonding zone of the peripheral rim 19 of the removable partition 13 is accompanied by the opening of the storage cell 10 but also and simultaneously the extraction of the partition 13 removable.

In this second variant shown, the storage bowls 21 are free of drugs. The plurality of storage cuvettes 21 is organized in the form of a column of 7 cuvettes 11, each cuvette 11 corresponding to a daily dose of medication. The device 1 according to the invention shown in FIG. 2 thus allows a unitary and daily dose of medicaments, once a day, for 7 days. Of course, nothing prevents the device 1 according to the invention has 4 columns of 7 cuvettes 11, each column of 7 cuvettes 11 corresponding to one of the 4 taken daily (breakfast, lunch, dinner and bed) of drugs. The device 1 according to the invention can therefore be a weekly pill pillar.
Each cuvette 11 of the plurality of drug storage cuvettes 21 is separated from the adjacent cuvettes 11 by a connection provided with a precut 24 for separating the cuvettes 11. Each removable partition 13 of the plurality of removable partitions 23 is separated from the partitions 13 adjacent removable by a tab 5 of breakable connection and separation of removable partitions 13. Each lid 12 of the plurality of lids 22 is separated from the adjacent lids 12 by a precut 27 for separating the lids 12. Thus each cell formed of a bowl 11, a removable partition 13, a lid 12 and comprising a unit dosage of drugs can be separated from the other cells of the plurality of cells by simple cutting benefiting from the combined effect of the pre-cut 24 separation of the cups 11, the tab 5 breakable connection and precut 27 of the lid 12.
An exploded view in longitudinal section in the median plane of a drug-free storage cell 10 is shown in FIG. 3. The storage cell 10 comprises a cuvette 11 determining a volume 15 dedicated to the storage of drugs, limited by walls 14 lateral planar and a bottom 16 also planar. The bowl 11 has an internal rim 17 shaped to be able to support and center, in combination with a shoulder 18, the removable partition 13 in the bowl 11. The bowl 11 also has a peripheral shoulder 18 for bonding the cover 12 on the flat upper face 18 peripheral shoulder. The removable partitioning 13 has a plurality of transverse partitions 6 adapted to be able, in cooperation with the bowl 11 when the peripheral rim 19 of the removable partition 13 rests on the internal rim 17 of the bowl 11, to form a plurality of storage compartments 20 for storage. drugs of a unit dose of drugs, drugs being in the state separated from each other.
A peripheral portion of the protective film of the cover 12 can be removed so that the peripheral portion of the corresponding cover 12 forms a bonding edge 25 and can be glued to the peripheral shoulder 18 of the opening of the bowl 11, the unit dosage of drugs being distributed in the drug storage compartments. In this embodiment, the removable partitioning 13 does not adhere to the lid 12 so that it is not extracted from the bowl at the opening of the cell 10.
FIG. 4 represents a device according to a first variant of the invention formed of a single cell 10 in the state packed with a unit dose of medicaments. The cell 10 comprises a storage bowl 11, a removable partition 13 disposed in the volume formed by the bowl 11 and a lid 12 bonded to the peripheral shoulder 18 of the bowl 11. Medicines 26 in divided solid dosage form - in particular not 100% pulverulent, preferably non-pulverulent, are disposed in at least two storage compartments. The drugs 26 are likely to be in contact with the protective film of the adhesive layer over the entire surface of the lid 12 without adhering to the lid and without altering the properties of the drugs 26. The drugs 26 are not likely to be in contact with the adhesive layer portion of the cover 12 free of protective film and adhered to the peripheral shoulder 18 of the bowl 11.

The recess 31 is formed of a material whose mechanical strength, in particular the mechanical resistance to abrasion, and the thickness are chosen to allow crushing and / or grinding. The material forming the recess 31 is selected to be in contact with a food and allow the mixing of the crushed / ground medicaments with a flowing food and the setting of the mixture formed by the patient. The recess 31 forms a mortar for crushing and / or grinding the medicaments of the unit dosage of drugs. The nature and thickness of the material forming the recess are adapted to allow the crushing of the drugs. The nature and thickness of this material are adapted according to the crushing mode of the drugs using either a pestle or an external electric crushing device. The recess may have a substantially smooth inner surface. However, nothing prevents that at least a portion of inner surface of the recess has asperities (or "teeth") cooperating with the pestle to crush the drugs.
The bottom 16 of the bowl 11 is flat, smooth and allows the drugs of the unit dose of drugs to slide from the drug storage floor 30 to the recess 31 by simply tilting the bowl.
A device 1 according to a particular aspect of the invention in a state of provision of a patient with a unit dose of medication is shown in longitudinal section in the median plane in FIG. 7. This device 1 is formed from of a cell 10 as shown in Figure 5. In this state of distribution, the cover 12 is associated by peripheral bonding to the partitioning 13 removable so that the opening of the cell by tearing the cover 12 according to the pre-cut opening of the cover 12 is accompanied by an extraction of the partitioning 13 removable from the bowl 11, a release of drugs from the unit dose of drugs in the bowl 11 and a slip of the drug unit taking drugs to from the bottom 30 of drug storage to the recess 31 by simple inclination of the bowl 11. The drugs of the unit dose of confined drugs da The recess 31 may be crushable in the recess 31 so as to form a powder, the powder then being mixed with a flowing food such as jam or compote so that it can be more easily consumed by the patient.
The crushing and / or grinding of the drugs of the plurality of drugs is carried out by any appropriate means, for example by means of a pestle 40 as shown in FIG. 8, the recess 31 acting as a crushing mortar. The pestle 40 is used in the usual manner, by exerting with the pestle 40 a pressure on the drugs held between the recess 31 and the pestle 40 and by pruning 40 a rotational movement causing the crushing / grinding of the drugs.
